Hey there! I’m Dana Claire.

With a killer background in marketing and sales, I’ve got a deep passion for all things books marketing related. And let me tell you, I know firsthand that the journey through self-publishing and traditional publishing can be a wild ride… not for the faint of heart!

But hey, I’m not just giving advice from an ivory tower. With eight published books under my belt, I’ve made a ton of mistakes and grown from them as well. Pain points? Oh, I’ve had a few. So, yeah, I’ve danced my way through the rough terrains of this literary world, learning and improving along the way.

My prose game, however, isn’t just limited to the pages of my books. Nope, nope! Two of my works have been optioned for TV – can you say popcorn time? And you know what’s even more surreal? I’ve been a humble recipient of three awards for Best Young Adult fiction. It’s still hard to believe!

Guess what else? I’m no stranger to the digital jungle either. With experience as a VP of Sales for an ecommerce company, COO of Book Brush, and VP of Sales for a customer retention company, I’ve been immersed in the digital-age marketing magic for a decade.

To sum it all up, I wear many hats – Author, Promotional Product Strategist, Customer Retention Maven, and Direct Sales Aficionado. Oh, and in my spare time, I’m a yoga teacher to Hollywood’s best. Yep, I’ve got quite the eclectic mix of hobbies!

I must admit, though, keeping plants alive isn’t my forte. If it were a cactus, maybe I’d have a chance, but alas, I’m an accidental tree-assassin. And don’t even get me started on cooking; I once managed to burn a spatula and paper towel roll all at the same time setting off the fire alarm while making eggs. Needless to say, my husband decided that was my last day in front of a burner! No argument here.

• I’m barely 5 foot and there are some rides I still can’t get on.

• I had a pet bearded dragon in college.

• One of my favorite singers of all time took my barre fitness classes. PINK! 😮🤭

• I’m double jointed in my shoulders and can literally use my arms as jump ropes.

• At my wedding, I staged a flash mob dance that went viral. You can watch here.

• I love football so much so I wrote three football sports romances. Go Giants!

• My first job was a junior fashion designer at Mudd Jeans in NYC.

• I teach fitness because my mother was a teacher and my father was a health club owner, and I wanted to do something that held meaning for both of my idols.

• My husband is the love of my life and I tell him that every day.
